Approach
My approach is a person-centered approach, which allows you to find and build your strength to explore either a specific issue you are facing or deepen your understanding of yourself, working towards personal growth and development.
Through working together, I invite you to become aware of your own thoughts, feelings and body sensations and invite exploration into a possibly unfamiliar territory through a safe and supportive journey. This will allow the possibility of new experiences and broadening potential, allowing you to find your strength and resources to face challenges you might be facing and find new ways of approaching relationships or your own personal experience.
Background and Experience
I have extensive experience working in private practice with a diverse range of clients across different life stages. I have supported many people in moving through the barriers that were holding them back—whether related to anxiety, attachment trauma, relationships, loss, or questions of identity.
Over the years, I have developed a strong specialization in trauma work, particularly in supporting survivors of sexual assault, helping clients move through what feels stuck in the body, mind, and relationships. Alongside my private practice work, my background includes providing one-on-one support in boarding schools with teenagers, facilitating group work, and offering short-term interventions within therapeutic organisations in both New Zealand and Israel.
Qualifications and Professional Memberships
I have a Masters of Arts in Clinical Art Therapy from Haifa University, Israel. A Bachelor of Fine Arts from Victorian College of the Arts, Australia and various psychology modules. In New Zealand I completed intensive psychotherapy supervision and training.
